In August 2021, Cassandra Woodford became ADAMH’s newest Americorps VISTA member. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University, she says, “I understand substance use and mental health disorders touch so many people’s lives. Therefore, I recognize the importance of the work done by the ADAMH Board to help address these needs.” During her tenure with ADAMH, she hopes to continue to develop and apply her skills to serve the community as well as learn new ones so she can continue to pursue such meaningful work. While not serving as the Fairfield County ADAMH Board’s community planning and program researcher, Cassandra can be found hiking, sewing, cooking, and traveling. In addition to her parents, a brother, two stepbrothers, and two stepsisters, Cassandra completes her family with two cats, Hayley and Peaches.
