Issue 6

Early voting by mail or in-person began Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
Election Day was Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
Thank you to everyone who exercised his or her right to vote through absentee ballot by mail or in person.

We cannot tell you how happy we are that Issue 6 passed because of what this additional funding means for our Fairfield County communities. Thanks to the support of voters, the Fairfield County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board will now be able to:
  • Provide expanded mental health services to children
  • Increase services to help address the opioid epidemic
  • Provide suicide prevention education and services for youth and adults
  • Help family members and employers of people who are impacted by substance abuse and mental health issues

We invite you to come to our monthly Board meetings for which dates, times, and locations are posted on this website at www.fairfieldadamh.org. Finally, please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest where we will post updates, special events, and trainings among other opportunities open to the public.

Thank you again for your continuing support! We will keep you posted as we hear more in terms of final ballots from the Board of Elections.
