The Fairfield County ADAMH Board is partnering with the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services to present the Problem Gambling Prevention and Treatment Overview. The community is invited to attend and has a choice of two available sessions.

With over 20 years of experience as a chemical dependency counselor, Scott has participated in the development and presentation of current Problem Gambling Level I and Level II training curricula. He has attended over 200 hours of gambling-specific trainings and multiple problem gambling-specific conferences, including eight national and two international conferences. Scott has participated in gambling supervision calls as well as provided support for service providers and the Ohio Problem Gambling Helpline (800.589.9966). He also helped create a problem gambling training DVD with The Ohio Lottery Commission for use at new employee orientation sessions for Ohio racetracks that have become racinos. Stacey Frohnapfel-Hasson, MPA, OCPC Stacey serves as the Problem Gambling Services Bureau Chief for the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She oversees policy, planning, and public outreach for a statewide system of care for problem gambling services. Stacey has over 20 years in policy leadership, communications, and public relations with for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental entities. She worked with the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities for several years on advocacy, outreach, grants, and senior services, including a white paper on Ohio’s Adult Care Facilities. Stacey is an Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant and a Master Trainer in Healthy IDEAS. She has a master’s in Public Administration from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from West Liberty State College in West Virginia. She served six years on the Whitehall, Ohio, City Council. |
