Thank you for your interest in trainings provided by the ADAMH Board!
 
To promote the health and well-being of the community and to allow clinicians who may be depending upon the continuing education units (CEUs) from the below trainings to meet licensure requirements, the ADAMH Board is proactively postponing April training events:

  • April 3 – Self Harm and Suicide in Youth - How to Help Training
  • April 15 – Verbal De-escalation Training
  • April 24 – Ethics and Supervision Training
  • April 29 – Verbal De-escalation Training

​Information regarding other ADAMH scheduled events and the reschedule of the above events will be disseminated via Eventbrite, Constant Contact, e-mail, social media, and the ADAMH Board website http://www.fairfieldadamh.org/. Ethics and Supervision Workshops

Morning: Procedures for Maintaining Ethical Compliance

8:30-11:30 a.m.

Procedures for Maintaining Ethical Compliance meets the requirements for social workers, counselors, and chemical dependency professionals. Jim will cover all of the current important information about ethical struggles of a dilemma and how to avoid pitfalls while keeping his audience awake and engaged during his presentation. 

Afternoon: Stages of Clinical Supervision

12:30-3:30 p.m.

Stages of Clinical Supervision meets the requirements for for social workers, counselors, and chemical dependency professionals. Jim will draw from his own real-life experiences of many years as a therapist to help audience members identify their own challenges as supervisors.
CEUs and RCHs are available.

Cost:

FREE if you live or work in Fairfield County; $20 per workshop if you do not live or work in Fairfield County
